Straight for Equality is a national outreach and education project to empower allies in supporting and advocating for gay,
lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.

PFLAG
|
PFLAG, Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays is a national organization with over 200,000 members and supporters
and over 500 affiliates in this country. See especially the PFLAG guide for Straight Allies and the link to local chapters.
Find it on the internet, visit a local meeting. You'll be glad you did.

Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. GLAAD expands the representation of the lgbt communities through effective and
forceful advocacy, education and visibility through media work. Their website also supports allies with information, education
and ideas.

|
The Human Rights Campaign is the largest national LGBT civil rights organization. HRC envisions an America were LGBT people
are ensured of basic, equal rights and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network is the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe schools
for ALL students. Many cities have local GLSEN chapters or Safe School projects.

|
Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lgbt people through
litigation, education and public policy work.

Task Force
|
The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force provides activist training to advance pro-LGBT legislation and defeat anti-LGBT
